Hi @Dom ,
If you would like to have separate startup preferences, normally you have 2 solutions:
- Create a separate shortcut.
a. Go to your Edge executable path. Normally you should be able to find it at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe
, or you can check edge://version
and find your Edge executable path.
b. Right click on msedge.exe
and select Create shortcut
.
c. Right click on the new shortcut and select Properties
d. In the Target
box under Shortcut
tab, add some pages to open on startup. For example, I added 2 pages:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" https://www.bing.com https://www.microsoft.com
Now, you've created a shortcut for the case where you want to open some pages on startup. When you don't need these pages, you can simply use the original Edge, but just make sure you have selected another option rather than Open these pages
in Edge Settings.
2. Use another profile. It only requires you to have separate startup configuration in different profiles, but you may rely on some synced data within one profile.
