Hello community, I'm trying to install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on my Windows 10 Enterprise PC, but so far it's not working. It starts installing and then stops abruptly. I'm a developer and I need to use Bash since I'm more comfortable and understand it better than the inbuilt Powershell.
What I have done:
I've turned on Developer mode and the required packages have been installed as well. I have also enabled WSL in my Settings and restarted my PC following the prompt. However, Ubuntu is failing to install so far.
My Windows 10 is version 1903 (OS Build18362.145) 2019.
I have also downloaded and Installed all pending updates on Windows 10 including Microsoft Store itself.
Please what can I do to get the installation process working perfectly? Thanks.

Hello there,
The Windows Subsystem for Linux only runs on your system drive (usually this is your C: drive). Make sure that distributions are stored on your system drive:
On Windows 10 open Settings -> System -> Storage -> More Storage Settings: Change where new content is saved
Download the Linux kernel update package and see is that helps https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-manual#step-4---download-the-linux-kernel-update-package
Hope this resolves your Query !!
