Hi,

Windows 10 Enterprise is installed as a Guest OS.

Its network connection type is NAT.

Microsoft Remote Desktop assistant is installed in Windows 10 Enterprise.

ipconfig of Guest OS says:
IPv4: 192.168.232.139
Default Gateway: 192.168.232.2

When I open Microsoft Remote Desktop assistant, it displays as
PC Name: 192.168.232.139
User name: Computer-name\user-name

ipconfig of Host OS says:
IPv4: 192.168.0.105
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Using RD Client App, I am trying to access Windows 10 Enterprise Guest OS on a Android Phone. Android Phone and laptop both are on the same network and connected with the same WIFI.

I accessed router page by 192.168.0.1 and found the IP assigned to the Android Phone is 192.168.0.103.

I used details in RD Client for connecting:
PC Name: 192.168.232.139
User name: Computer-name\user-name

It says, Error Code: 0x104

Pls let me know, how to resolve it?

With Regards
NndnG

    Hi,

Regardless of virtual machine or physical devices, in order to remote from one device to another, they are either required to be in the same network segment for direct access nor connecting via VPN/RD gateway(specific role installe for remoting externally).

So kindly ensure that your Guest VM and the Andriod device could be communicated with port 3389. You can test by telnet command as below:
Using Telnet to Test Port 3389 Functionality
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/187628/using-telnet-to-test-port-3389-functionality

Moreover, if you need more assistance on Hyper-V network like Hyper-V Virtual Switch, it is suggested to raise separate thread and wait for experts there.

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.

    Thanks,
    Jenny
