Import Jobs to office 365 mailbox Stuck at Analysis in Progress.-

I am trying to finish a PST migration.

I have followed all the steps required to do this as Microsoft guideline suggests.

In fact, I've managed to conduct ONE successful migration.

  1. Uploaded PSt file to storage via Azcopy tool, the Command says Transfer successful.
  2. Mapping CSV file - provided with input also validated which shows successful.
  3. The files are less than 12gb in all cases.

Everything looks fine until there, but then I see 0% progress in "Analysis in progress" even after 5 days. Doesn't matter how many jobs I create, all end up the same.

With powershell I can't get it to return anything on the stuck jobs, only reports from the completed one.

This is so frustrating, and I've saw many people have the same problem, but found no clear resolution.

Please, any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi @Javier Ba ,

According to your description, the PST import is stuck at 0% completion in progress. Many factors affect the import process, follow these steps to give it a try:

    1. Switch to another network.
    2. Select "View Details" to check the PST file that is not imported, and then log in to the corresponding mailbox to check if the PST file has been imported successfully.
    3. Create a new PST import process and import only the affected PST files into Office 365. If you have an Office desktop installed, you can also manually import a PST file into a user's mailbox by following the steps in this article: Import email, contacts, and calendar from an Outlook .pst file

Also, please give us a screenshot of the "View Details" interface for analysis.

Hello, and thank you for your answer.

To clarify, the problem is not with the import itself, since no import even started. All the jobs I've created since the first one (which was the only one to run with success) had never even started the import process, since they never pass the stage of "Analysis in Progress"

    answering your points:

    1) I've tried from different networks, but uploading is not an issue. All pst that I've uploaded where completed successfully, and I can also see them in with Azure Storage Explorer

    2) I don't see any "view details" option, but if I click on any of the jobs the details are as follows:

    272353-imagen.png

No import process even started, so no imports on any mailbox

    3) I've created lots of new imports that never pass the "analysis in Progress" stage. I've tried uploading different pst, with different names with no luck. Also created lot's of mapping files with just one pst and always the same result. It seems that after the first job that work, all the other I've tried failed at the same stage. I guess something got stuck or else, but seems to be an issue that needs to be resolved from Microsoft side, since there is not much I can do on my part. I can not even cancel the jobs, nor they ever seem to fail, just stuck forever.

Hope this helps, and find a way to solve this extremely annoying issue.

    Thank you.

    UPDATE.

After eight of the task being created, the status of "analysis in progress" changed to Import. From there the option of import to office365 and finally everything was able to complete.
