Is there a Visio 2019 SDK?

Hi there,

I can find the Visio 2016 SDK. Is there a Visio 2019 SDK or is Visio 2016's SDK supposed to be used with Visio 2019 as well?

Hi @asl ,

As far as I know the latest Visio SDK is the 2016 version, and based on the ReadMe file that comes after installing the Visio 2016 SDK it only mentions the Visio 2016 version in the system requirements.

You could create a GitHub issue by clicking on Site feedback at the bottom of the page of the Visio documentaiton page, then provide the necessary information and ask if the Visio 2016 SDK works for Visio 2019 or not.

Otherwise you can simply test to check if the Visio 2016 SDK works with Visio 2019 or not.

So far, Microsoft has not released the Visio 2019 SDK.

For the issue "is Visio 2016's SDK supposed to be used with Visio 2019 as well?", as we have no environment to test for you, there is no Microsoft official documentation to explain it either, so I would suggest you ask this question in the forum below, you may get others' knowledge or experiences. Or you may do a simply test as Leon suggested.
