Update File of Knowledge Base via API

How do we go about updating a file of a source via the API in Custom Question Answering? We can upload the file via the Language Studio, but the requirements are to keep the files behind an authenticated source and refresh them within the Language Studio each day. The end users will only have access to the authenticated source for the file.

Thanks a lot for using Microsoft Q&A platform, I have seen a spam answer and just deleted it,

for your question, are you working on automatically updating the knowledgebase with the updated file? Could you please provide more details about how you want to update the knowledgebase?

@Ryan Exner doesn't respond for a while. But I ran into exactly the same problem.

I want to understand if it is possible to upload files that are stored locally using python or c# sdk.

I have a sample python code that I use.


endpoint = '...'
key = '...'
project_name = '...'

client = AuthoringClient(endpoint, AzureKeyCredential(key))

sources_poller = client.begin_update_sources(
            project_name=project_name,
            sources=[{

But I am getting an error like:
