I have a private team site >> and i enabled 2 languages "English" + "Arabic", as follow:-

enter image description here

This allows us to have 2 versions of each new modern page one in English and the other in Arabic.but if we add modern web parts inside the news pages such as Weather or Events, then they will only be shown in one language (the user preferred language)... so can we translate the modern web parts similar how we translate news pages?

Thanks

    Hello,

    SharePoint Online does support translating modern web parts. You can use the built-in translation features of SharePoint Online to translate modern web parts into different languages.

    To translate modern web parts in SharePoint Online, follow the following:

    1. Navigate to the page that contains the modern web part that you want to translate.
    2. Click the "Edit" button on the page to enter edit mode.
    3. Select the modern web part that you want to translate.
    4. In the web part properties, click the "Translate" button.
    5. Select the language that you want to translate the web part into.
    6. Edit the text or content of the web part in the target language.
    7. Click the "Save" button to save your changes.

    Note:
    Some modern web parts may not have all of their content translatable, depending on the specific web part and its content. In these cases, you may need to manually translate the remaining content.

    Good luck!

    @john john

    According to this Microsoft article, SharePoint Online does not support translating the modern web parts (Weather, Events and etc.) similar to how translating news page.

    To create pages on sites in different languages, you can use the translation feature to make copies of pages created in your default language. The copies can then be manually translated. Published translation pages are automatically shown in the appropriate language site, including in the News and Highlighted content web parts for each language.
