Microsoft Authenticator taking a long time to authenticate

Question

I work on a small team of 7 members. We all use Microsoft Authenticator on our phones (a mix of Windows and Apple devices) to authenticate various work-related things on our Windows 10 and 11 laptops as we connect to various resources at a central location. We're a geographically dispersed team with most of us in various locations around the state; I'm one of the closer ones physically to where our offices are located.

I'm the only team member experiencing this: the first time I authenticate in the morning when I'm initially connecting to our work network, the authentication process usually takes me just a few seconds. After that, my subsequent authentication times often (but not always) take at least 90 seconds--I'd estimate 90-120 being about average.

This isn't happening for any other team member. Wondering what things I can look at to try troubleshooting.
