Hi there, I want to share some folders with the employees but I don't want them to have access to all the data on the OneDrive. What's the best way to do it? I've been looking for information and the only thing I found was to share access via clicking the three dots with another educational or professional account, but both accounts we have belong to the same domain from the company so both users with license have inherently full access to the whole storage. Should I create a new account with different domain and then share the folders or there is another way to do it?

Thanks in advance.

I believe this method will only share with who you specifically invite, rather than the default of sharing a link that anyone with the link would have access to:

    1. Select your desired folder/file. Can only do one at a time.
    2. Click the Share button at the top
    3. Select Invite people, add all that you require, select desired permission and options
    4. Share away

You could set unique permissions for some folders, then employees can access these folders but cannot access all data in the OneDrive.

Select the folder -> Click three dots -> Manage access -> Through Direct access to set unique permissions for the folder. After setting unique permissions for the folder, users with licenses cannot access.

In the Direct access -> Advanced -> Stop Inheriting Permissions -> Grant permissions and remove needless permissions.
