Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

We had two meetings this week with 50+ attendees and multiple presenters (from various locations) and we had constant issue with screen sharing, when the next in line presenter shares screen, almost everyone in the meeting has to leave and join the meeting to get shared screen on the client side.

This was so frustrating and C-level staff was on the meeting as well.

Yesterday: 08 December 2022 16:00-17:30 (constant issue during meeting)

And before that: 05 December 2022 11:00-12:30 (constant issue as well)

Basically, 80% of users (randomly) had to leave meeting and reconnect whenever someone (next in line) shares screen.

    Hi @Iniobong Nkanga

Please check the Past Meetings quality of call for that meeting.

    You can do this by:

    1) Manager Users > Choose a User

    2) Go to Meetings & calls > Scroll down to Past Meetings > Click on the Meeting ID

    3) Hover over the user experiencing screen sharing issues to see what their call quality was:

If their call quality was Good, then we know it is not a Networking issue. If it was Poor then you may have had issues at your locations or between Teams. If this is a constant issue, make sure ports are open:

Prepare your organization's network for Microsoft Teams

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/MicrosoftTeams/prepare-network#network-requirements

I'd then check if Teams is completely up-to-date, and if so, I'd open a ticket in Admin Center with Microsoft and see if there were any advisories for yesterday for Call Quality.

If this is helpful please accept answer.

    Hi @Iniobong Nkanga

We are facing the same issue, opened a support ticket and been told that it is related to an ongoing service degradation.

You can find more information in the service health section of your Microsoft Teams admin center, with this title: "Some users may intermittently see a black screen during Microsoft Teams meetings that include video", and this ID: TM485572.

    Best,
    Jose
