Did you try contacting the manufacture of your devices?
That would be my 1st step.
IOGear KVM GCS-1942 can't switch computers using Scroll Lock on Ergonomic Keyboard LXM-00001
I use IOGear KVM GCS1942. This KVM uses Scroll Lock to switch between computers. I have been using this KVM with Ergonomic Keyboard 400 fine. I recently switched from Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 to Ergonomic Keyboard LXM-00001. I found out that the scroll lock key on LXM-00001 does not work with the KVM. When I press the Scroll Lock, the KVM does not recognize it. I didn't have this problem with Ergo Keyboard 4000.
How can I make this keyboard usable with KVM?
OS: Windows 10 21H2
KVM: IOGear GCS1942
Keyboard: LXM-00001

Unfortunately, there is little in this scenario that depends on the operating system. You can try to update drivers for KVM or Keyboard interfaces, but since the keyboard is emulated through the KVM, it would be recommended that you better contact the manufacturer of the KVM or their community for assistance, as they can be better experienced to provide answers.
From my personal experience, it happens that sometimes the keyboard is plugged on the mouse port and viceversa, and they will still work normally, but some keymaps will not be recognize (such as control hotkeys). Since it is an quick check, I think is worth to mention.
Other times, the recognition of the hotkeys may be identified differently, for example if usually you do "ScrollLock+ScrollLock+Enter" in other instances you may need "ScrollLock+ScrollLock+ScrollLock+Enter+Enter". Not sure why, but this is what I have experienced.
