Here is my information on my system. I am not tech person but it seems to me that I meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 11. I was hoping to understand why I don't. Because I really don't to have to buy another laptop at this time. Please help me understand in layman's terms.

    Hi @amyo

The first thing that stands out is your CPU (Processor) which is AMD A12-9720P. This is not a Windows 11 supported AMD processor. Your laptop is unfortunately does not meet the requirements for this operating system and you will need to continue using Windows 10.

A complete list of supported AMD processors can be found at:

Windows 10 can be upgraded to Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

Unsupported upgrades may not benefit from the improvements in performance, reliability, and security.
