Hey there, I am creating https client using Azure RTOS NetX Duo. I am working with multiple threads. Is there any API available in NetX Duo which reconnects the ethernet if it is unplugged instead of halting.

@Syed Samia Bukhari , could you give more details of "reconnects the ethernet"? Do you mean establishing TCP connection again after Ethernet cable is plugged in? When you say "halting", is IP thread halting or application thread waiting for TCP/IP IO?
@Tiejun Zhou I wanted to establish the TCP connection again after the ethernet cable was plugged in, which I resolved using nx_ip_status_check API which waits in forever loop in order to build the connection again. Thankyou for your response.

I have the same question. Is there a file called nx ip status check API that I can download? or is there something I can configure wihtin that function?

I have explored this function in the code but when my ethernet is unplugged it doesnt return that it is not successful, it seems to hang at a mutex within the function

Are you calling this function from a thread? Note that the documentation clearly states this function can be called from a Thread (not from initialization code or from an interrupt).
If you are using the error checking version of this function, then the caller context type check is performed, otherwise, in a non error checking aka release build, this check is skipped for performance reasons.
Note that it is always recommended to use error checking options during development.
It would help to have more details to understand what could be the problem. Which microcontroller and Ethernet adapter are you using? Did you start from a microcontroller vendor provided example or wrote your own?
