Since the latest update of windows 11, The search icon in the taskbar is changed to this:

Now, when I click on it, it does nothing.
In start menu, when I click on search bar it will close the start menu immediately.
In explorer, the searchbar is not selectable and you can't write anything in it.

I tried the solutions in this article (except the last one): https://www.lifewire.com/fix-search-not-working-in-windows-11-5191397
none of them working.

How can I fix it without reseting my PC?

    Hi MohammadAfzali-7367,

We would recommend you to please run ‘CHKDSK’ scan followed by a ‘SFC Scan’ and then restart your machine.

    • Press the Window key and type ‘cmd’ and when ‘cmd’ (command prompt) appears, perform a right click on it and click on run as administrator and when it is open type CHKDSK /f and hit
    enter.
Then it will ask you to type Y/N, then type ‘Y’ and hit enter and restart your machine.
    • After the machine is restarted open ‘cmd’ again and run as an administrator and type ‘sfc /scannow’ and hit enter. Once the sfc scan is completed, restart the machine again.

Note: If you have installed any third party security software in the machine, it may create problem for other inbuilt tools for the machine, please be advised that Windows security is enough for your machine.

    Please update with your finding!

    Regards
    CK
