Microsoft Teams Meeting Invitation Link in Email

Hello, I believe I'm currently using the Standard Version of Microsoft. What I'm wondering is what kind of upgrade I would need to get, in order to be able to send out Teams meeting invitation links, in the email. How much would it cost?

My understanding is there is a way to send out invitations and the people who receive the invitation would be able to click on the meeting in their calender and join the meeting by clicking a link at the bottom of the email. There would also be a meeting ID and passcode.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get!

    Hi @Lisa

You can send out invitation via e-mail link with your standard Outlook (outlook.com) free e-mail.

    You can do this by:

    1) Open Teams

    2) Go to Meet

    3) Go to Meet later > Press Add details

Add all the necessary information and add people to Add required attendees

    4) It will send an e-mail notification (as seen below)

Note: It will not have a password on the link, but if your Meeting options are default, you will be the only one who can admit people into the meeting (meaning you can stop people who shouldn't be there from entering).
