Unable to connect to MySQL on Azure from my local MySQL Workbench

I get "unable to connect to localhost" when trying to connect to MySQL in Azure from my local MySQL workbench.
The settings are correct, my external IP has been added to the firewall rules.
I can access the DB using the Azure console
The MySQL instance is not using SSL
Not sure what else to try.

As I understand you are facing an issue while connecting to Azure Mysql from Mysql Workbench.
Can you please share a screenshot of the error or the full error message? and connection setup information.Regards
