SharePoint 2013 Survey Export to Excel columns orders are not maintaned

Question

Hello,

Anyone experienced the issue while exporting to Excel? I tried created my own view, with default view etc and also creating a new survey with all scenarios, the export to excel file is working just fine. The problem is all questions zigzag way disordered. It is almost impossible to read unless it exports in the same order where the view or default view exist.
I tried creating/modifying the default view in SharePoint designer and tried creating a new survey using existing template but the exported excel columns are completely disordered.
When I googled, when there are some hidden fields(I do have a few hidden fields), it does like that. Are there any workaround to make sure export to excel order will be maintained?

Please advise.

I could reproduce this issue when exporting a survey list with "Export to Spreadsheet". It seems to be by default.

To solve this issue, you can do as the followings:

1. Open your site with SharePoint Designer 2013, and open your survey list.
2. Under the "View" section (on the right), select "Overview" which is the default view
   

3.Open and edit the default view page in Advanced Mode:

4. Look for the "Viewfields" section.

5. Cut the columns you want to move and paste them where you want them

I created a few hidden fields and looks like they are giving problems. Some fields I completely hidden and some fields I hidden using Javascript on the form. Please let me know if more questions. Thanks again in advance for any suggestions.
