Azure Virtual Desktop: Is there a recording session?

Hello team,

I have a sensitive URL that will be allowed accessed only from Azure Virtual Desktop.

In order to improve the security, compliance and forensic investigation, I would like to know if exist any way to generate recording of the session?

All the activities that the users are performing on that Azure Virtual Desktop are recorded.

Do you have any update how to achieve it?

As TP-MVP mentioned in the previous response, there is no option to record a session in AVD. This can be done via 3rd party tool like Ekran Systems.

Found this old link, It does mention shadowing with qwinsta. Not sure if this still works.

Hi,

Unfortunately there's no built-in feature of Azure Virtual Desktop that provides session recording. You will need to investigate and test third-party solutions for this. I do not have any that I recommend at this time so I suggest you search and evaluate to see if one meets your needs.
