Created 10 VM Lab but Can't Start any VM
Have created and published a 10 VM lab based on the Kali Linux Distribution. I cannot start any VM. I just get an X saying operation failed. The top VM is assigned and will not start either.

2022-12-29T05:26:34.9+00:00 Hello @snowman ,
Welcome to Microsoft QnA.
Can you try re-creating the lab environment and see if it is successful? If not, then I can help you with a support request as these kind of "Operation Failed" requests need to be investigated by our backend support team. Do let me know how it goes and tag me in your response. Thank you :) -

2022-12-29T18:53:31.58+00:00 Hello - I've tried to create a new instance but am continuously running into errors. I've deleted most of my labs to free up resources and tried to create a 1 machine Kali Linux lab but now I can't even publish it. I intermittently get error messages saying I don't have proper permissions, even though I know I do. When I refresh the page, the error goes away and I am able to proceed. In general the Azure instance we have is just not cooperating right now and I am unable to really get anything accomplished.
Any help would be appreciated.

2022-12-30T04:44:37.18+00:00 @snowman , this needs to be looked into by the backend support team and they can check the logs and point you towards the correct resolution for this issue. Do you have a support plan enabled for your subscription? If not, let me know. I'll help you with a free support ticket.

2022-12-30T14:51:27.487+00:00 Hello - I believe we do but I am not the administrator. Since we're on school break I'll have a difficult time contacting them. I'd appreciate you moving forward with this so I can hopefully set up my lab before school starts next week.
Thanks for your help.

2023-01-02T15:40:46.673+00:00 So this issue continues. I can start Windows VMs but not any Linux VMs using the standard templates in Azure. This is going to put my class behind by a week or more, but also make me not rely on Azure for this class going forward. The whole idea was the ease and ability to create new VMs but if this is what I am going to experience, it will be both easier and cheaper to just go back to a HW strategy or another service.
To summarize my issues, I can not routinely publish Linux templates and when they do publish, I can't start any VMs. I usually don't get an error message, but when I do, it is useless.
My Windows VMs start no problem, go figure.

2023-01-03T08:51:50.14+00:00 Are you using the Kali Linux image from the Azure Marketplace or is it a custom image?

2023-01-03T12:35:22.633+00:00 It is the standard Kali Linux image from the Azure Marketplace. I've tried both non-customized and custom.
