Hi all - has anyone observed a misspelled warning message in MS Access? The import spreadsheet wizard Warning message has a misspelled word of "overwite" (instead of "overwrite".)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Right-click on tables
  2. Import > Excel
  3. Select the file to import > Import the source data into a new table in the current database > Click Ok
  4. Walk through the Import Spreadsheet Wizard clicking next until the last step
  5. Import to Table: Use the same table name as an existing table
  6. Receive warning "Overwite existing table or query '<name of table'?"

I wonder whether nobody has actually noticed it in the past 20+ years....or just decided it wasn't important enough to raise it as an issue

    Hi,

A few days ago I noticed that the Access team has kept word and has meanwhile added the missing "r". Details at the end of our AFo article. So the crisis has been averted! Servus
