Hi - what happens to synced SharePoint files and folders on a computer after the user's access has been removed from those document libraries?

    Hi @ndr ,

As per my test, if the status of files and folders in the local synced OneDrive folder is green tick icons 274989-image.png, it means the file has been downloaded to your device and becomes a locally available file. Even if you remove the user's access, it still can be available on that user's computer, but it will not keep latest with the online one. If the status is blue cloud icon275032-image.png, it means the file is only available online. The user cannot open the file after removing access and he may get errors like below.
