Intune company portal not working on Huawei

I saw a post in 2020 saying that Intune company portal requires GMS to operate. Is it still the case? Have you considered to include Huawei phones? Right now, even the Huawei phones sold in UK cannot use Intune app properly, and this is very inconvenient. Thank you!
