I am using Windows 10 on HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC and suddenly started facing "Memory Management" Error. The BSOD shows up after some time and system shuts down its own. I can't work on this system due to this sudden shutdown problem. I can't access "Safe Mode" despite using all the available methods and running Windows Update is also not possible. Please help.

When there appears to be some computer stability see if you can download and install:

HP UEFI hardware diagnostics version 8.9: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143798.exe

Most HP computers have a default HP UEFI hardware diagnostics (older version).

If you cannot use the newest version (download and installation problems) then run the old version.

Or on a working computer add the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics to a bootable flash drive:

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143798.exe

Plan to run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics overnight while sleeping.

To run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics from an installed version:

Power on the computer > repetitively click F2 or F10 > system > extensive > loop until error > the next day if it has made two or more loops > click esc > take pictures > post images or share links displaying the tests performed with results into this thread

If it finds a hardware failure it will post an error message and code.

To run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics from a bootable flash drive:

Power on the computer > repetitively click F9 > select the applicable flash drive > system > extensive > loop until error > the next day if it has made two or more loops > click esc > take pictures > post images or share links displaying the tests performed with results into this thread

If it finds a hardware failure it will post an error message and code.

If possible run the V2 log collector and post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive:

Please post images or share links displaying the tests performed with results.

Indicate if there were or were not any recent hardware changes.

Run the V2 log collector and post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

Run Memtest86 (free version) for two tests of four passes each (total eight passes).

Just one error is a test fail and testing can be aborted.

Memtest86 has a feature to create text reports.

If possible, include the text reports with the images in the share links.

Take pictures with a camera > post images or share links into this thread

For share links please use one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    Hello there,

Try to run the device diagnostic tools first and see if you can find any BIOS or driver updates .

The Memory Management error hints at a severe problem with your PC's system and memory. The system-side problem is usually hardware related, but may sometimes be a software related problem. In rare cases, the error may indicate firmware issues.

If you are sure their is no hardware issues then probably we can dig into fixing the operating system.
