I have an issue with my App and CollectionView and scrolling, when testing with IOS emulators. The scrolling does not work on any IOS emulators if more than one page is displayed. It works fine with Android and Windows.
Below is a snippet of my XAML code for the Page:

I have searched online for solution and tried the recommendation of setting VerticalOptions ="FillAndExpand" but this does not solve the issue.

The scrolling issues occurs on IOS only with even a simple ContentPage.

So I think it is issue with MAUI.
Further details :

I have made some progress.

No scrolling occurs with the default screen fit setting (Scale to fit) on any IOS emulators:

If I change it to another value say User's image

scrolling works, but I am unable to get past the first page in any setting.

Windows: VS 2022 17.4.4

Macbook VS for Mac 17.4.2 (build 17) . Scrolling does not work even if I create and run a project on Macbook directly.

I am unable to try on physical device at the moment.

Simulators:

Scrolling does not work on any of the above.

Any help would be appreciated.

I test the code and reproduce your issue. It doesn't work on iOS and Windows (only works on Android). You can report this at https://github.com/dotnet/maui.
RefreshView is a container control that provides pull to refresh functionality for scrollable content. The CollectionView and ScrollView can scroll at the same time, this might cause the problem. You could try to remove the ScrollView and modify the refresh view for the CollectionView. For more details, please refer to CollectionView - .NET MAUI | Microsoft Learn and the source code of sample.

Further details :

I have made some progress.

No scrolling occurs with the default screen fit setting (Scale to fit) on any IOS emulators:

If I change it to another value say

scrolling works, but I am unable to get past the first page in any setting.

I tested the code, it works via VS for Mac( run on the iOS 16.2 simulator), you could try to run the app on your physical device and check if this issue still exists. And may I ask the detailed vs version and the simulator information?

Windows: VS 2022 17.4.4

Macbook VS for Mac 17.4.2 (build 17) . Scrolling does not work even if I create and run a project on Macbook directly.

I am unable to try on physical device at the moment.

Simulators:

Scrolling does not work on any of the above.

I test the code and reproduce your issue. It doesn't work on iOS and Windows (only works on Android). You can report this at https://github.com/dotnet/maui.
RefreshView is a container control that provides pull to refresh functionality for scrollable content. The CollectionView and ScrollView can scroll at the same time, this might cause the problem. You could try to remove the ScrollView and modify the refresh view for the CollectionView. For more details, please refer to CollectionView - .NET MAUI | Microsoft Learn and the source code of sample.

Hello,

It caused by the ContentSize of UIScrollview on iOS, (There is a known issue reported at GitHub- ScrollView frozen in iOS when data is loaded async #9209 and it has been closed). You can use handler to find the native control and UpdateContentSize and PlatformArrange to solve this problem, please refer to the workaround at Github and the following code:

From the screenshot, it looks like you are using VS on Windows machine, right? You can check whether the .net-ios platform is selected or not in the upper left corner.
(In addition, I added some extra import information into the question, you can check it.)
