We have set up WSUS server for MS patching in SCCM Server. Since we now make use of another patch automation software, we need to disable / remove WSUS from SCCM.

May I ask is there any instruction for us to remove WSUS integration from SCCM ?

Thanks

    Hi @TonyJK,

Please refer to the following steps to uninstall Software Update Point and WSUS from SCCM:

    1. In the SCCM console, under "Administration", click "Site Configuration", "Servers and Site System Roles".
    2. Then right click on "Software Update Point", click "Remove Role".
    3. You can track the uninstallation in the SUPSetup.log (in the logs folder of your Configmgr Site Server installation folder).
    4. In the server's Server Manager, remove the WSUS role via "Manage", "Remove Roles and Features".
    5. If the WSUS role cannot be removed properly in the GUI, please refer to the command method mentioned in the following article for removal: "How to Remove WSUS Completely and Reinstall it."

Hope the above can help you.
