I have a problem with a VM/resource group, on 26. 12 I deleted a resource group with a VM and ML studio workspace, the group has been deleted but they are still paying for it, neither the VM nor the resource group is anywhere except in cost management, I can't delete the VM because it doesn't exist anywhere, neither can the resource group which only exists in cost manager, cli can't handle it because it says such resource group doesn't exist, in VS code I don't have any computer either, nor ML workspace, the mentioned machines are Virtual Machines Dv2 Series - D12 v2 from ML studio

The worst thing is that I have performed this action many times, for both VM and ML alone it has never happened that deleting the resource gropup did not remove its contents, of course the money is lost every day

    @Rafał szydo

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

    Based on the details shared, you are experiencing issues with deleting your VM and resource group. It sounds like the VM and resource group were not properly deleted and are still present in cost management. Check below steps and try them to see if that resolves this issue.

    • Check the resource group and see if it is located in a different subscription. If it is located in a different subscription, you will need to switch to that subscription and delete the resource group from there.
    • Check if the resource group is locked. If it is locked, you will need to unlock it before you can delete it.

    If the above mentioned steps did not help, you may need to contact Azure support for assistance in deleting the resource group and VM. They should be able to provide further guidance and help resolve the issue.

    Hope this helps.
