I all of a sudden cannot open ANY of my png files in this ridiculous version of Windows. (I have Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 on a 64bit laptop)

I have checked the default app setting, it is set to Photos.

I do not know why this is happening or how I can view my pngs.

My computer is up to date with the exception of this one that will not update for god knows what reason.....2022-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5021255) Install error - 0x80070002

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND.

Thank you.

If you are using Mcafee Antivirus, the Edge browser extension for Mcafee Web Advisor may be the problem. I had same issue and computer repair tech fixed it.

Open Edge browser. Go to Settings(3 dotted lines at top right edge of screen). Click on them. When pop up window appears, click on "extensions". Next, click on "manage extensions" (near bottom of popup window). When the next window opens up, look for Mcafee Web Advisor, and slide the button to the right of it, to the "off" position.

    Worked for me($99) later-LOL
