Enabling emaiil for calendar in SharePoint online site

It is for one calendar list.
we have mail address from team test.calendar@keyman .net which sent all calendar entry to our old SharePoint site.
now we have a new SharePoint site online, the email address should sent us the entry to our new SharePoint site online.
Please suggest.
It is team site with no office 365 group

If it email enable not supported in calendar list, is there any MicroSoft document mentioning this?

Hi @sns ,

Mail enabled SharePoint calendars are not supported in SharePoint Online world as incoming E-mail has been deprecated.

Quote from Microsoft:

Mail-enabled lists create contact objects in AD. Since SharePoint Online is a multi-tenant environment, this functionality would cause a large increase in traffic, which in turn would cause performance issues for all customers. This functionality is currently disabled due to the performance concerns, as well as security, data requirement, legal compliance and scalability concerns.

The alternative in this case is building a Power Automate Flow to create items when an E-mail arrives like this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/375649/is-it-possible-to-send-email-to-a-sharepoint-onlin-1.html or looking for 3rd party solutions or tools which can achieve this.

Thank you for the response. I Have 3 follow up questions.

I have gone through. But I am not clear for No office 365 group team sites, we are using team site with office 365 group, can we use site mail box for that?
I have site https://domain.sharepoint.com/sites/test1

now mail id becomes test1@keyman .sharepoint.com? am I correct?

so currently Can not I use site mail box as it is getting deprecated? if not , could you please tell me high level steps to use site mail box?

Can you please provide where to start and high level steps to use this site mail box?
and another question i Have tried to create team site and but when I navigate I did not find GROUPS option instead I fould OUTLOOK app. Could you please tell me where to find groups option?

If you are using a team site without o365 group, NO, you cannot use site mailbox.

Yes. The mailbox feature has been deprecated. Said in this article: Retirement of site mailboxes.

Now when creating a team site with o365 group, a group mailbox will be created along with it. By default, the mail address is ******@domian.sharepoint.com. Everyone in this team/group will receive email sent to this email address. Also you can create aliases to give the team alternate email addresses. Any email sent to an alias will be forwarded to the primary group email address. Go to Microsoft 365 admin center > Active teams & groups, you will see groups in your tenant and group email addresses.

In Outlook app on web, from left navigation bar, you can find the group otions:
