When I try to open PowerPoint I keep on receiving an error message stating that "PowerPoint was unexpectedly closed ; error report will be sent to Apple".
When I click on OK, the window closes but PowerPoint does not launch.
What I have tried so far to fix this issue :

  • close everything, retstart the computer
  • update my iOs
  • update my Office version

None of this has been working. Could you please further assist me?

"- update my iOS" Are you running PowerPoint on an iPad or iPhone? Those devices use iOS. If so, try deleting the apps, then reinstalling from the Apple App Store.
