Hi mschwrdtnr,
When Microsoft adds a new feature to their products, it often starts off as a 'Preview' version.
This provides the public early access to the feature in the hope that the community will help test the feature and provide constructive feedback.
I've seen previews last over a year, depending on the complexity of the feature or maybe other unseen internal reasons.
If you're finding the new feature(s) useful, then Microsoft would love to get your feedback.
If you're concerned that the feature is missing something, then that's the whole reason for the preview - to get other's feedback and recommendations.
Regards,
