Hello,
This question has been asked on SO 3 weeks ago, but it was closed as opinion based, whereas it really is not.
So I ask it here anew.

We enabled signin with a keep me signed in checkbox using custom policies.

This checkbox is uncheked by default in the UI.

How to have it in the checked state by default within the custom policy file?

We would like to avoid javascript and we use custom policies.

Hi @Octopus , the way to make the checkbox appear is detailed here, but the usual way of setting the default value might not apply. You'd have to set the "DefaultValue" attribute to true, like so:

<PersistedClaim ClaimTypeReferenceId="extension_ChangePasswordRequired" DefaultValue="true" AlwaysUseDefaultValue="true" />

But since this is Metadata it won't work. I reached out to a team member for more informaton and I'll let you know when I have an update.

Dear James,
Thank you very much for providing more details.
Of course, we have the checkbox visible in the UI and running. We only want it to be checked by default when the signin page loads.
The reason being that our app is a social-type platform for which the vast majority of users want to come back to the app without going to the signin flow everytime.
So I look forward to your response. Of course, as I said, we could this via JS, but would like to avoid it because so far we are not using custom JS and would like to keep it this way.
