403 forbidden error and scripts not running when application is accesed via public url

Hi All,
I am facing bizarre problem, we have moved the existing web application to Azure and some of the scripts and pages stopped working when the user is using a public URL.
But everything works fine when the application is accessed via the server name.

example: when the user accesses the application via http://abc.travel.com/LogOn.mvc some of the pages and scripts do not work.
but if the same application is accessed via http://[ServerName]/LogOn.mvc everything works as expected.

You need more information to troubleshoot the issue, first do you have details about the 403 error? If not, try to use failed request tracking to get detailed error information.

Since you have posted the question on azure-webapp tag, just to clarify, are you leveraging Azure WebApps or hosting site on an Azure VM or some other Azure service**?
