How to enable microphone on Windows 11 AVD?.

Dear Experts,

I installed Azure and configure my own VM with AVD Windows 11, I have my local PC on Windows Azure as well. And when I start my AVD I can hear but I cannot use the microphone as is not found by the AVD. I tried all the different instructions given on the prior posts including the Group Policies change, and enabling the device from my local PC too and it does not work. I use a MS Surface Laptop 4. I really appreciate your kind help and advice to enable the microphone, I am spending a ton on the AVD and really want to make most of it. Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Eladio,

    In the Azure portal, under your Host pool, RDP Properties, Device redirection, have you set Microphone redirection to Enable audio capture from the local device and redirection to an audio application in the remote application as shown in below screenshot? If not, please change the setting, Save, refresh the Windows Desktop client, connect and test again.

    Hello there,

    I think the Windows Audio service is set to manual by default in Azure virtual machines so you could change it to "Automatic" so your sound remains on even after a reboot.

    The possible reasons might also be:

    -Missing sound device in virtual machine configuration -Lack of access to proper rights on Azure. -Incorrect Windows settings.
