Hello,
I have been having an issue since i have upgraded to 12th gen Intel, and i was hoping someone here could shed some light.

To preface this issues this is my 3rd Mobo (1st one was DOA, 2nd one the Ethernet Port went on it and a NVME slot died, and now onto the 3rd MOBO.) All different MOBO's btw. My download speeds are fine hitting up to 980 Mbps. But my Upload speeds are an abysmal 0.02 all the way up to 4~5 Mbps. Its top the point where i cannot even open emails!. The only work around i have found is to run a PCI-e ethernet card adapter and the issue is gone!

Drivers are up to date (check multiple times via the Update Center)

I have not done a BIOS update (they terrify me tbh....too many horror stories)

The ethernet cables are all from reputable sources (i have tried 5 different ones and made 2 myself)

Sooo yea. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it doesn't sound like it could be a MOBO issue.

From what you told us it sure sounds like some sort of hardware or driver issue. You could try installing windows 10 to see if it makes a difference. Updating the firmware would also be recommended. In the end the mobo manufacturer will likely be your best resource to trouble shoot the hardware and or drivers issue.

Is it happening with all the browsers?

How much memory is installed in your system?

Make sure the system is clean having no malware. And also make sure that internet security thing is not blocking.

I shall suggest you talk to your Internet Service Provider.

So after speaking with my ISP (Verizon) it seems that the IPv6 Function on the Verizon Fios Routers causes this issue. Once they disabled it everything returned to normal! Seems to be a bad firmware update on their part.

    I hope this helps others!

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

You can try stopping the background downloads. Some download services, like Windows System Update, "seed" the files you've already downloaded to provide to other users when they attempt to download the same file. You must have a respectable upload speed to participate in the seeding process, which may slow down the upload rates of other apps and programs. Peer-to-peer downloading services should be momentarily suspended in order to provide room for other applications to use the upload bandwidth. Once you've finished uploading all you needed to, you can continue these programs.

You can also try contacting your Internet provider to make sure that the issue is not from their end.
