Windows 11 less secure then Windows 10? As doesn't allow use of a password? Only a pin?

Question

It appears Windows 11 only allows use of a pin (if you don't have fingerprint or camera options)
This seems very insecure.
Every other password system wants a mixture of upper-case, lower-case, numbers and other characters for full security.
Not only does Windows 11 not require this it actively prevents you from having a secure password.

Or have I missed something? A hidden option perhaps? If so please explain how I get to it!!!
I want my Windows 11 login to be as secure!

Additionally, you can change your PIN so that it includes letters/symbols/digits/upper/lower if you want.

Start -- Settings -- Accounts -- Sign-in options -- PIN -- Change

Hello there,

The PIN is easy to set up and easy to remember which also makes it a faster log-in method than password log-in. Additionally, if you eventually set up Facial Recognition or Fingerprint recognition with Windows Hello, you will have to set up a PIN anyway as a backup to biometric passwords.

If you only have the option to use Windows Hello to sign in on your device or the passwordless account configured on your Microsoft account, the PIN remove button will be greyed out.
