Hi, I recently had an issue with the laptop I purchased a few months ago that was working fine up until now. For months, it had been running perfectly fine and I had no issues, but recently it has randomly started to say that Windows (I am on Windows 11 Home) is not activated, and when I attempt to troubleshoot, nothing works. I had to completely reset my device and after that, it went back to working fine till a few days later when it said I needed to activate Windows once again. I am also running into issues with attempting to use my Microsoft apps such as Word and Powerpoint. Every time I open them, it says they have run into an error and I can attempt to fix it, or close the application altogether. But if I attempt to fix it, the app closes regardless and nothing is resolved.

Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this issue..

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

According to this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/09d8fb64-6768-4815-0c30-159fa7d89d85 If the product key has previously been used on another device or if it is being used on more devices than permitted by the Microsoft Software License Terms, you may encounter this error. Purchase a product key to activate Windows on each of your devices in order to solve the issue.
