Hi @Iniobong Nkanga According to your description, I have the following questions to confirm with you:
Is there the same problem when trying to open a file in a web client? Does this user have any error messages when opening files?
To narrow down the problem, I look forward to your kind response. Also, you could check that the Limited-access user permission lockdown mode feature is activated on your OneDrive site. Please follow the steps below to disable this feature:
- Sign into your OneDrive site.
- Select the Setting icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Select OneDrive Settings > More Settings.
- Under Features and storage, select Site Collection Features.
- Locate Limited-access user permission lockdown mode, and then select Deactivate.
