Restore mailbox from passive node, without cluster witness

Hi,

After a total crash. I have one of three domain controllers and one node (passive, there was two servers in DAG) with Exchange 2010. All I want is to export multiple mailboxes. I managed to get Exchange to "work". But the mailboxes are on the second node, which is no longer available.

When trying to make databases active, on an available node. I am getting a cluster error.

The cluster witness is also unavailable. I'm trying to restore it by adding an alternate witness, but I'm getting an error that the second node is not available.

Is there any chance to get access to the boxes?

Thank you.

Have you tried mounting the database on the server that is up? I assume there is a mailbox copy yes?
