Hey,

the application of our company for the use of OpenAI got declined with the note we are "Unmanaged" and the application says "Azure OpenAI requires registration and is currently only available to managed customers and partners working with Microsoft account teams."

What does it mean to be such a customer, how can we check the status of our account and what are the prerequesites of becoming one?

Any hints would be very helpful so we can move forward with our application! Thanks in advance

PS.: We applied for the use of OpenAI in a controlled, internal setting not involving PII and for experimentation.

Maximilian Körner managed partners and customers are customers whose subscriptions are managed by the partner network or customers who have previously worked with MS teams on similar features. At this moment I believe cognitive services are not accepting requests to become managed customers. See this note from the limited access page.

Customers can re-apply for such offerings in the future and check if they are eligible for future previews. Thanks!!
