Android Enrollment Stuck - Apps spinning

Hi All,

Been doing Android Enrollments, COPE, with Intune for a year. No CA policies, no device restrictions, no MFA for Enrollment.

Lately our COPE enrollments are getting stuck. We tap the screen 6 times, connect to wifi, login with account, set device passcode, but then it gets to the following screen where the two apps sit there spinning. We know it's not an issue with Conditional Access, we know it's not the Google Play account, older Samsung Galaxy S9 devices are just fine. It's mostly just the new devices. We know it's none of the above because if I let it sit like this for 24 hours, it eventually completes to the next step. (tried on multiple wifi's, hotspots, home, etc).

This started happening about a month ago, and it's worse than ever now. Anyone else? 278053-intuneenrollmentissue.jpg

    @Geoff B Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

    For this issue, I have noticed that there are many additional apps. It is suggested to try to remove the target user which is used to enroll this android device from these apps' assignment before doing the COPE. Then check if this enrollment stuck situation will still exist.

    It is suggested to deploy these apps to the Android device after finishing enrollment.
