Is there a replacement application for AZURE / OCR?

This link states, OCR is obsolete.

I believe you can find the path to Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Computer Vision through this link in the same Docs topic:

Otherwise, I'd recommend looking at the Azure products page, and checking what of the various options is going to deliver on your use case.
