Hello,

Below message appreared in the OSD completed laptop when user logs in for first time.

logs.txtSquirrelSetup.logSquirrelTelemetry.log Capture

I Ope setup log and found that it is from Teams. Please let me why does this message appears in a newly OSD completed computer

    Thanks for posting in our Q&A!To narrow down the problem, we need more information.

    1, Could you please let us know, what tools you use to execute the OSD? Is it SCCM?

    2, I have down some research online, but I cannot get anything about WorkstationDeploymentTool.exe. Do you have more information about it?

    3, Please upload a full log which log is open when you click "Open Setup Log"

    I will do more research, i will be sharing for you if i have any update.

    1, Hi @ SokiGuo-MSFT, according to my research, SquirrelSetup.log is a Teams installer related logs, please help refer to the logs for troubleshooting.

    2, Hi @Boopathi Subramaniam, you have added the steps to install Teams as part of the MDT OSD process, right? From the perspective of MDT troubleshooting, I recommend that you remove this step and deploy Task Sequence again to see whether the error is also appeared?

    Helli All, WorkstationDeploymentTool.e comes from WalkMeWorkstation application. It appears when the user login to the first time in the OSD completed workstation.

    Hi @Boopathi Subramaniam

    1, The task sequence includes the step to install WalkMeWorkstation, right? If so, please upload a full smsts.log for our reference.

    2, Please try to simulate the SCCM installation process and manually install the application on the test machine to check if there is the same error.

    As show in the following screenshot, I am using command “msiexec /i “XXX.msi” /q” to install this application, I will copy the application to a test machine and use the same command to install it manually.
