hello everyone!

Windows Server 2019 Domain Controller and DHCP

I recently encountered such a situation - it was necessary to exclude the first 7 ip addresses in the pool from leasing. But as it turned out, the range settings exceed the specified pool for issuing a lease?

dhcp

How can this be at all- or with such a mask, is it likely that it can?

If so, is it possible to increase the pool starting from the 1st address?

I have never encountered such a thing yet)

Thanks.

You can use another scope using the same mask with another subnet. The subnet calculator will provide you with the next subnet based on your subnetting.
