Hello!

This article explains which counters must be monitored when using AlwaysON - would anyone please help me understand the following values taken for my two nodes AlwaysON group (on primary replica):

01

Q1: When the database is "idle" (meaning no user transactions occur - inside the red rectangle) the Log Bytes Flushed\sec counter displays 0, and this is expected, but why do Bytes Sent to Replica/sec and Bytes Sent to Tansport/sec counters not = 0 as well?

Q2:Why do the values in the Bytes Sent to Tansport/sec more than three times higher than that for Bytes Sent to Replica/sec ? Where do the "excessive bytes " sent to transport but not being sent to replica go?

Thank you in advance,
Michael
