Why does authentication not work for my communication site in Microsoft edge? 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

It appears that my authentication does not work for my communication site in Microsoft edge while it is working in Internet Explorer and Firefox. The screen will bring up my site and then immediately kick me back out showing the 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. What could cause it to stop working in just that one browser?
Please note that I tried clearing the cache and that didn't fix the issue.

2023-01-18T15:11:44.2566667+00:00 This uses Windows Authentication, and I can access the site via internet explorer/Firefox but not Edge for some reason.
