Outlook email voting not tracking responses

As a test, I created an email sent it via the voting option; I requested each person identify in email how they voted and whether they used the desktop version or web version.

All respondents used the web version; however, when I review the tracking from my sent message, I only have one response captured. I clicked on the Send/Receive button several times, rebooted Outlook a few times, and rebooted my computer only to receive the same results.

How do I find out who voted for what?

Please help!

    I found a solution/workaround. I had a similar issue. Sent a voting email to multiple recipients and only one response showed in tracking despite receiving several in my inbox.

    The answer? I had only opened/viewed one. The rest I had marked as read.

    Once I opened all the messages individually, they all showed up in tracking.

    This is reasonable for small distributions, but large ones could be time-consuming. It’s not the tracking behavior I was expecting. 🤷‍♀️

    Anyways, I wanted to pass this along. Hope it helps someone.

    Hi @lee reaviel ,

    As far as I know, if you move the original email (with the voting options) from the sent items folder to another folder, then the message tracking stops working at that point.

    If you turn off the rule, tracking should work better.
