I got a new phone, i downloaded authenticator onto the new phone. Whenever i try to log onto my email and use authenticator to log in, the code will not go to my new phone, but i charged my old phone and saw that it still comes up on the old phone. So if i want to log on, I cannot use my new phone, I have to get my old phone and use that. Any advice with how to get the app to work on my new phone? Thank you.

Isn't the Microsoft Authenticator THE MOST AGGREVATING PIECE OF CRAP EVER INVENTED?????????

I can't stand the thing! It's NEVER worked as intended!

I understand the "security", but trying to use it is ridiculous!

You have to manually transfer the accounts across.

Go into each account, disable and re-enable MFA with the new phone.

Or if you have enabled backup and using the same type of phone (ie IOS or Android), then you can try this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-and-recover-account-credentials-in-the-authenticator-app-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40
