How to share a payment method with all global admins in Microsoft 365 Admin portal

Ok, so after 3 months of not getting anywhere with MS tech support, and quite possibly having been passed off to the wrong department....

The company I work for right now have our email through the Microsoft 365 environment. We do all of our billing/subscription purchasing in the Microsoft 365 Admin portal (https://admin.microsoft.com/). The issue we're having and wanting to solve is sharing a payment method between the various admins that have the ability to purchase subscriptions (global and I believe billing?). The idea here is that we want all of our subscriptions to be charged to the same payment method, but without having to have the same person always make the purchases or require each admin to enter it themselves from scratch (ie, in this case a credit card, we don't want to have to physically or electronically share the actual credit card numbers with everyone involved).

Microsoft tech support has had us try entering the card in the Microsoft 365 Admin portal as a payment method under Billing -> Payment methods. This had no effect (and there was no option to share).

MS tech support then also had us try creating a billing profile in the Microsoft 365 Admin portal under Billing -> Bills & payments -> Billing profile, but there does not appear to be an option to create one for us.

They then started (and currently still are) having us look at creating a billing profile in the Azure Admin portal (https://portal.azure.com/) under Cost Management + Billing -> Billing profiles, but this option is not available at all. (I believe this is the wrong path for us because none of our billing information from the Microsoft 365 Admin portal is showing up here.)

Do any of you out there know if what we're looking to accomplish is possible (natively in Microsoft's environment - we are not looking for 3rd party tools), and if yes, how?
