Is computer vision better than form recognizer for document?

Good day! I want to know if OCR works better than form recognizer? When the quality is low. Form recognizer is not unable to recognize some text. Is CV good at it?

Thanks for reaching out to us for this question, sorry to know the Form Recognizer is not working as your expectation, but the answer is No.

Form Recognizer is leveraging Azure Computer Vision to recognize text actually, so the result will be the same.

If you share a sample doc for us to investigate why the result is not good, it will be good to improve the product.

Both Azure Computer Vision and Azure Form Recognizer need moderate quality document to do the recognition at this moment.
