.NET Runtime 1026, Application Error 1000, Application crashes

Hello!

I originally had the application on my computer, and when it tried to update it crashed. So I uninstalled it to start fresh. When I try to install the Hearthstone Deck Tracker (HDT) application on my computer; however, I continue to get two errors. I have went through their personal list of ways to fix this potentially happening. They can be found here. I have attempted many things to try to fix this, but have been unable to do so.

I currently have .NET framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and .NET 4.8 Advanced Services turned on in Windows Features. I have attempted to install HDT by unchecking one at a time (both checked, one of each checked and none checked) and restarting my computer then attempting to reinstall HDT again.

I have attempted to repair a .NET framework installation found here.

I have attempted to update to the newest version of my graphics card.

I saw there was a potential issue with the current build for .NET framework. Following the steps from Windows in the hyperlink provided (in the word issue), I installed the compatibility workaround and attempted to install HDT again.

I attempted to install the application after installing .NET framework 6.0 and/or 7.0 (I did this for having both and for having just one of each). Not sure if this was necessary, but I did it anyway. Currently, they are both uninstalled.

I have talked to an HDT dev, and they said that it was a .NET framework issue and not their application, but tbh I didn't give them a lot of information because I was responding to another person having the exact same issue as me (though it seems I've only been able to find 2 people, including myself, having this issue). I followed their advice of using the already installed .zip they have available here (Version 1.19.7), and it won't update HDT (gives the same error as installing it). I did unzip the .zip file before trying to use HDT. Since I can just get the application this way, it may not be the installation problem but instead when HDT is initially run. Not sure though as I'm not the expert.

When I attempt to install HDT (during any of the above situations), it attempts to install. The logo icon pops up in task bar for a split second then disappears. The files are successfully installed to the C:/Users/lmste/AppData/Local/HearthstoneDeckTracker directory (not sure if any are missing any files at this time); however, it does not complete the installation because there should also be files in C:/Users/lmste/AppData/Roaming/HearthstoneDeckTracker (the folder container, HearthstoneDeckTracker, is not even created). I have checked if this is true on a different computer (did not check for same update and version of Windows though), and it does indeed have files in the second directory (for the record the logo does pop up for a split second when it installed correctly on the other computer).

HDT can be uninstalled through Apps & features and clicking on the Uninstall button to uninstall it; however, usually the logo is shown there, but there is no logo seen and instead displays the default picture if a program doesn't have a picture logo. Each time I uninstalled HDT, I also made sure to remove folder at the directory C:/Users/lmste/AppData/Local/HearthstoneDeckTracker.

I believe that's everything that I've attempted. Here are the event logs of the errors that occur every time I try to install or run HDT:
